Telemedicine Counseling

Our Facilities Are Open With New COVID-19 Safety Measures

At our facilities, Midland Psychological Services, Gratiot Psychological Services, and Clinton County Medical Center Psychological Services, we are diligently working to ensure the safety of our clients and our care providers.

As an essential service, we are exempt from Gov. Whitmer’s executive order to slow the spread of COVID-19 that would otherwise force us to close. Our offices are still open – and we are adapting to the current situation as it develops.

Telemedicine Services and Additional Cleaning Precautions at Our Facilities

At this time, we are excited to provide telemedicine services to our clients in order to maintain appropriate social distancing and do our part to slow the spread of COVID-19. Telemedicine is the traditional therapy service provided through an online HIPAA-compliant platform. In this way, our offices are able to continue serving our clients’ needs while exercising as much precaution as possible.

For those clients served at our location in Alma, Michigan, at Gratiot Psychological Services, the office continues to provide access to clients in person, as well as telemedicine. We are taking additional cleaning precautions every hour and have arranged our lobby space and therapy rooms to maintain the recommended social distance of six feet.

Unfortunately, due to space restrictions and the safety of our providers, our locations in Midland and St. Johns are providing telemedicine services exclusively until further notice.

All current clients can maintain their regularly scheduled appointments or choose to reschedule for a more convenient time until we are permitted to resume business as usual.

Our facilities are still able to accept new referrals and new clients, as well. The important thing to remember during these uncertain and stressful times is that you’re not alone.

Even when you’re at home, we can help. Contact us for more information about scheduling telemedicine counseling without one of our care providers.
